Speakeasy - Speed Test
Have a broadband connection and wnat to make sure that you are getting what you pay for?
try the Speakeasy - Speed Test assuming you have java once the page is loaded click on the start button in the test your broadband box. This works in the US - other countries am not so sure about ;-)
