  Updates
Well it's been a while, and I realised that better dads than me had been updating their kids blogs, so I figured you-all deserved something too (not that anyone actually reads my blog - I have the stats you know!).

Ethan:
Ethan loves his new school and is doing really well there the thing that has impressed me the most is that as part of his schooling he has to memorise scripture - in the KJV no less this is what he learnt last month

Psalm 40:1-8 (King James Version)
"1I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

4Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart."

I will try and get him to say this again and record him as it is really quite impressive especially with all the old words in it. Unfortunately as he is now in October he has a new verse and he no longer wants to say the old one so we will see if I can get him to perform (he did do it for Grandma & Poppa though, and also has a certificate saying he did it too)

He also had his 6th birthday

He started the day with a football/soccer match (he did pretty good the opposition only had one player better than him) we then went for doughnuts/donuts afterwards before coming home where we picked up His best friend Jonah and went to sunsplash-golfland to play on the arcades for 3 hours, boy did we have fun blowin' the snot outta dinosaurs and aliens, and between those driving head to head in Mario Cart, when we had enough there we went over to the go-carts and had fun there

then we came home and had a birthday ice cream cake with Grandma & Poppa. What a busy day, but really fun. It was the first time I'd been to an arcade & not worried about how many quarters I had to feed the machines - I even came home with about another hours worth of tokens for when we go again! He also Got some rollerblades/inline skates form his mum and took those out for a spin on Tuesday

Jamin:
Jamin is enjoying his school too and is now making his own friends, rather than just ones he is sharing with Ethan. However stubbornness has been redefined with him, if he makes his mind up - that's it and he will pout and sulk rather than be convinced otherwise. He's getting excited about his upcoming birthday after Ethan had his - I have no idea what we will be doing for his birthday as yet. Rachelle told me that one thing that he's doing now is using his leap pad Ethan never really go into it when he had it as he never had the patience to listen to the instructions before trying to press things, Jamin actually does!!

Elizabeth:
Well as is to be expected Elizabeth has the biggest jumps since her last update. She has learnt to pull herself up she is also growing her next 2 teeth out - more bottom ones. Crawling is definitely mastered if you turn round she's gone, and now we constantly have to ensure that the boys pick up the little things off their floor, combined with being able to pull herself up the remote is no longer safe on the coffee table and is now fair game.
She is almost out of her Jonny Jump up but is really getting into her "seat scooter" which she has now learnt to push forward as well as go back. She also went on her first horse ride with Mummy last weekend, as previously she had just sat on the horse when it was still, this time she got to walk around and thought it was great.

phew, big post, but big stuff has been happening, I really must get Rachelle to post too, which she hasn't for YEARS but you never know, maybe by email, we will see. Anyhooo I'll try and be a better Dad and get more posts up on our rapidly growing family.
